In the valleys of Champdepraz and Champorcher there is the Mont Avic regional natural park: 5,700 hectares of protected natural landscapes, featuring forest of Swiss mountain pine, Scots pine, larch and beech, as well as vast expanse of rocks, alpine meadows and a whole host of lakes, rivers and streams.
Hundreds of kilometres of trails that wind through the
Gran Paradiso National Park, the Regional Park of Mont Avic
and the Natural Reserve of Mont Mars.
Places populated only by Ibexes, marmots, Chamois and golden eagles.
Walking at night, in the darkest of dark,
accompanied only by the light of the moon,
allows you to meet on your journey
these discreet hosts of the mountains.
