An enormous crowd welcomed, Saturday, the last arrivals of the three races of TOR X: an ongoing party, began before 1 p.m. with the first arrivals of TOR30 – Passage au Malatrà and concluded after 6 p.m. with the last of the short race, of Tor des Géants® and Tor des Glaciers. Anna Maria Corsico e Pierre-Hugues Faivre were the last ones to cross the finish line at Jardin de l’Ange. And then a bigger party, Sunday 15 September, to close these long ten days of TOR’s tenth edition with the awards ceremony.

Tor des Géants®
The tenth edition of TOR closed in the name of Oliviero Bosatelli, who doubled whis victory of 2016 winning in 72h37’13”. A double also for Silvia Ainhoa Trigueros Garrote, with a record-breaking 85h23’15”, like Lisa Borzani, Francesca Canepa and Anne Marie Gross, who won two TORs. In 565 out of 944 crossed the finish line in Courmayeur on Saturday.

Tor des Glaciers
A race which seemed inconceivable, until a few days ago. Luca Papi and Anouk Baars (and the others 38 Argonauts who reached the end) made it real: Papi won the first edition of Tor des Glaciers, 450 km with 32.000 m elevation gain, in 134h10’01”, with South African Baars winning the women ranking in 183h06’20”.
