Tot Dret’s stars shine
Stars on the paths. Hundreds of lights from the headlamps, the lights of the runners and those of the public. Cones of light capable of drawing the long way rode by the 330 ultratrailers taking part in the second edition of the Tot Dret, proceeding in a long but compact line. The race, 130 km and 12 thousand meters of positive range, started in Gressoney Saint Jean at 9 pm and must be completed by Thursday.
Competitors will be under the watchful eye of three Giants: Monte Rosa, Cervino and Mont Blanc. From Col Pinter, 2776 meters, the first of the 6 hills that will have to face, news of "excellent" weather arrive, so it has been defined, without wind, with temperature more than affordable and starry sky. In short, competitors will have to enjoy the commitment, the challenge, the satisfaction.
At the start really great crowd and impeccable organization. Gressoney can do things right. Many Asian competitors, attracted by the great mountains, by a technical path full of ups and downs, the distance important but not as severe as that of the Tor des Géants®. A beautiful sporting and personal test.
From a sporting point of view eyes focused on Giuliano Cavallo and Gloriana Pellissier, who legitimately aspire to the podium. Enzo Benvenuto, another strong athlete "made in Aosta Valley" will not be there twiddling his thumbs.
In short, the Tot Dret also tells stories of sport, life and solidarity.
