After the tragic decease of the Chinese trailer Yuang Yang during the first night of the competition, the organisation of the Tor des Géants® has decided to open a fund raise in favour of his family.From today until the 31st October everybody can deposit one's proper donation on this account registered as "società Valle d'Aosta Trailers s.s.d.r.l - Via Roma 98, 11013 Courmayeur (AO)"
A lot of institutions involved and sponsors and organisers of the race already have confirmed to support this initiative .
Whoever likes to participate personally is invited to make a bank deposit or pay in cash ,Sunday , the 15th of September in occasion of the prize awarding ceremony at the stand especially arranged for this occasion at the Jardin de L’Ange of Courmayeur.
The collected fund will be used to cover the expenses of the repatriation of the corpse of the Chinese athlete and to realise a memorial artwork that will be installed where the tragic incident happened.
