795kg of waste collected during the first Plogging World Championship

Last weekend we were in Torre Pellice (IT) for the first edition of the Plogging Wolrd Championship, a unique race where trail running and trash collection are combined. The ploggers collected a total of 795 kilos of waste, covering over 1,780 km of trails and with an average of almost half a kilo of waste every kilometer. Since the TORX® was qualifying race for the World Championship, many Giants were on the starting line, like Marina Plavan (second at TOR450 - Tor des Glaciers) and Pablo Criado Toca (team SCARPA and top runner). Thumbs up for Francesco Filippi, qualifiyed with TOR130 - Tot Dret, who gained the third place of the world ranking with a really huge mass of particular waste!
