“A view over Mount Cervin”
Located in Valtournenche, and featuring a spectacular view over Mount Cervin, Torgnon is an old alpine village which benefits from favourable sun exposure and a particularly mild climate.
The fresh air and the stunningly beautiful landscape make the area a pleasant holiday destination, even for the Tour of Alpine Pastures. From the nearby Saint Pantaleon Pass the scenic view includes the entire valley below and the Lozon Lake Nature Reserve.
Edelweiss flowers, chamois, steinbocks and marmots in their natural habitat provide companionship for summer excursions in the area, and also for mountain bike trips or horse rides.
The huge alpine skiing resort ensures everyone from beginner to competitive levels has fun in the snow. The cross-country ski runs are amongst the longest and most impressive in the area, nestled between a thick conifer wood with splendid glimpses over Mount Cervin.
